Information regarding the security vulnerabilities can be found </FONT><A href="http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/238678"><FONT color=#0000ff size=2>here</FONT></A><FONT size=2> and </FONT><A href="http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/680620"><FONT color=#0000ff size=2>here</FONT></A><FONT size=2>.</FONT></P> <P><FONT size=2>The latest version of the BES Client provides expanded functionality and increased performance, stability, security, and more. This Fixlet message will upgrade all BES Clients on the targeted Mac OS X computers. </FONT></P> <P> <P><FONT size=2></P> <P><FONT size=2><STRONG>Note:</STRONG> BigFix recommends that you run this upgrade targeted to "All Computers" rather than to "Specific Computers" so that all old BES Clients will get upgraded.</FONT><BR><BR><STRONG>Important Note:</STRONG> BES clients will lose all client settings and appear in the console as new computers when upgraded from version 4.1 to 5.1.&nbsp; The action status for the upgrade may never report back or may return failed. Once the 5.1 computer has appeared, it is safe to remove the old 4.1 computer from the BES Console. Old client settings will need to be re-created on the 5.1 client after the upgrade.</FONT></P></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
